Time travel is complicated.

Panel 1: A man in Victorian dress is standing next to an elaborate time machine. He is holding a watch. His top hat is on a table. He says: In precisely five minutes, I will start the text of my time machine. Panel 2: An identical man in Victorian dress wearing a top hat has appeared in the time machine. The first man says: Good heavens! Who the devil are you?! Panel 3: Both men are standing beside the machine now and shaking hands. The new man says: I am yourself, sir, from five minutes in the future. Our time machine is a success! Panel 4: The original man looks thoughtful and says: Good news! In which case I will call off the test. The new man is now fading, and the time machine is visible behind him. He says: I feel that would be unwise...
