Every political movement has to have its merch.

Panel 1: A young woman in Edwardian dress is standing in front of a shop counter. Behind the shop counter is a woman shop assistant. The shop assistant says: Can I help you, miss? The young woman replies: I'm looking for a handbag Panel 2: The shop assistant demonstrates a small handbag. She says: Certainly, Miss. We have everything for the modern woman. This model is The Pankhurst. It comes in the WSPU (Women's Social and Political Union) colours of purple and green, and it contains a handy guide to Jujitsu. Panel 3: The shop assistant demonstrates a larger handbag. She says: This model is The Davidson. It comes in the WSPU colours as well, but it is considerably more capacious. It can accommodate a 16oz hammer which we can supply from our ironmongery department. The young woman looks pleased and says: I'll take it! Panel 4: The young woman is standing outside a fine art gallery with her new handbag in one hand and a hammer in the other held up high. In the gallery window are paintings depicting nude women. One of the gallery's windows is smashed. She shouts: Votes for women!
