Where does the noise go?

Panel 1: A young man is standing next to a young woman who is sitting in an office chair. The young man has a sheet of paper. The young woman has her hands on her over-ear headphones. Young man: Natasha, can you get these reports out of the Finance system, please? Young woman: I got these new noise cancelling headphones. Panel 2: The young man is holding the sheet of paper out to the young woman. Young man: The director needs these reports by this afternoon. Young woman: Noise cancelling headphones! Panel 3: Young man is standing with hands on hips. The young woman has turned her back and is hand jiving in her chair. Young man thinks: If they're noise cancelling, where does all the noise go? Young woman sings: There is a light that will never go out... Panel 4: In a doctors office. The doctor is typing into a laptop. An anxious young man is sitting opposite. Doctor: Tell me more about these voices in your head. Anxious young man: They keep going on about finance reports. Make it stop!
