We may already be in that dystopian Sci-Fi future and not even realise it.

Panel 1: A man is sitting at a desk in an office and a woman is arriving at her desk. The man says: Morning, Carol. The woman says: Morning, Phil. What do our AI overlords have for us today? Panel 2: The man says: I'm just correcting the £2.2 million that the benefits bot paid to a Mrs Hayes... The woman says: Oh, dear! How much as it supposed to be? Panel 3: The man says: Well, nothing really. She's been dead for 23 years! Panel 4: Now we see the pair are sitting in a giant office full of workers. The man says: AI productivity has been amazing. And it keeps all these people in work fixing its mistakes!
