This is a four panel cartoon. Panel 1: PERENNIALS. A large dandelion flower is speaking to a small dandelion flower. Small dandelion: MUM! I'VE FLOWERED! Large dandelion: THAT'S RIGHT, DARLING. WE FLOWER EVERY YEAR. Panel 2: BIENNIALS. A pink flower is speaking to a small plant with no flower. Small plant: MUM! WHEN DO I FLOWER? Pink flower: YOU'LL FLOWER NEXT YEAR, DARLING. Panel 3: BIENNIALS (YEAR 2). The small plant has now flowered, but the mother plant has wilted and died. Small plant: MUM?! Panel 4: ANNUALS. There are three small purple flowers in a row.
