I've been reading a book on MC Escher, and in particular his works on reflection.

Panel 1: A man in a grey t-shirt and pyjama bottoms is standing in front of a bathroom mirror. The man's face is reflected in the mirror. The floor is turquoise.
Panel 2: The image in the mirror has changed to a woman with a dog's head wearing the same grey t-shirt. The man and the mirror image look shocked.
Panel 3: Now the whole image of the bathroom is reversed. The woman with the dog's head is standing in front of the bathroom mirror. The woman is wearing the same grey t-shirt and pyjama bottoms. The floor is lime green. The woman and the reflection both look shocked.
Panel 4: The woman with the dog's head is standing looking in the mirror. Now the woman's face is reflected in the mirror. They no longer look shocked.
