Daleks have a back story as well.

This is a four panel cartoon. Panel 1: A blue Dalek is sitting at an open laptop. In its head, it starts to tell us a story: BACK ON SKARO, I HAD A SUMMER JOB ON THE SAUCER PRODUCTION LINE... Panel 2: We see the young blue Dalek working on the production line next to a gold Dalek. In the background, there is a sign that reads SAUCER PRODUCTION LINE 4. The background is dark pink. The blue Dalek continues to narrate: THERE WAS AN OLD GUY THERE, GETH. HE USED TO TELL US GREAT STORIES ABOUT THE WAR. Geth (the gold Dalek): ...I TOOK A BLAST TO MY LEFT COMM LIGHT. Young blue Dalek: WOW! Panel 3: The image shows Geth working on the same production line, but now the young blue Dalek has gone. The blue Dalek continues to narrate: AT THE END OF SUMMER I WENT OFF TO CADET SCHOOL. I NEVER SAW GETH AGAIN. Panel 4: Geth has its back to us and is waiting outside an open door. A sign reads: DALEK RECYCLING FACILITY 6. Through the door is a partially dismantled Dalek. The blue Dalek continues to narrate: I WONDER WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT GUY?
