This cartoon is based on a radio interview about a genuine NHS diagnostic tool.

Panel 1: A man is seated at a scanner which is shining a light in his eyes. A woman in uniform is standing next to him. She says: We're training our new AI diagnostic tool with thousands of NHS patient records.
Panel 2: The woman continues: For example, a patient may get a retina scan in one hospital, and then show up months later in a hospital in Grimsby with a heart attack. The AI is trained to spot these connections and make an early diagnosis when we first see the patient.
Panel 3: The scan has finished and the man is leaning back in the chair. The woman is leaning down to take a printout from the scanner. She says: Here are your results. The man says: What does it say?
Panel 4: The woman is holding the printout. She says: It says - don't go to Grimsby
