Another case where you may not want to rely on Bayesian inference.

Panel 1: Inside a car at night looking from the back seat through the windscreen. A man is driving the car and a woman in the passenger seat. The headlights are illuminating a black cat in the centre of the road. Woman: Look out, Jonathan - there's a cat! Panel 2: Now the cat is gone. Man: Yes! I saw it! It's crossed now. Woman: Slow down! There might be another cat following it! Panel 3: Man: Cats are solitary animals, Susan. It's highly unlikely there'll be another one... Panel 4: Now we see a ginger cat standing by the side of the road. It's wearing a hi-vis vest and holding a Stop sign. A number of cats wearing numbers on their backs are waiting behind the ginger cat. A sign reads: Bristol Cat Half Marathon. The ginger cat is saying: Rupert got across OK so it must be safe to cross. Quickly, now...
